Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Required:

• 5 Years of Manufacturing Engineer exp.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Related Technical Field.
• Exp. With CAD Software (SolidWorks Preferred).
• Strong understanding of DFM Principles and managing ECNs and ECRs.
• Experience implementing process improvement changes.
• 2 years of experience Designing, Programming, and Troubleshooting PLC Systems.
• Willingness to travel locally to support custom requests.

Plusses:

• Experience Mentoring Jr. Engineers
• Experience coordinating with international suppliers and manufacturers

Responsibilities:

A client of Insight Global specializing in the manufacturing of vertical lift equipment is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join their team in Manila, AK. In this role you will work with the design team to tailor equipment designs for customers, support manufacturing operations and implement process improvement changes. You will also be responsible for:

• Lead process flow and fixture design to improve efficiency and quality
• Develop and troubleshoot PLC/controls systems for automation
• Drive planning, capital projects, and strategic initiatives
• Create and manage CAD models and technical documentation
• Mentor junior engineers and peers by sharing technical knowledge, best practices, and lessons learned to elevate team capability and performance
• Manage projects, CI initiatives, and Lean implementation
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools
• Apply DFM principles and manage ECNs/ECRs
• Provide hands-on support and resolve complex production issues
• Own deliverables, demonstrate growth, and communicate effectively
