Description:
A leading maritime organization in Spring, TX is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join its accounting team. This role will provide critical support during a multi-year Oracle ERP implementation by backfilling key responsibilities and ensuring continuity in financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and deliver accurate financial statements for external reporting in compliance with GAAP and company standards.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
- Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to aid strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration of Oracle ERP and maintain data integrity during system migration.
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Assist with audit preparation and coordination for internal and external audits.
- Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting to support business initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance function.
Qualifications:
- 5 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Variance Analysis experience
- Financial Reporting experience
Salary : $55 - $58
