Capital Projects Sourcing Manager (Remote)
Join a dynamic team driving some of the largest and most innovative capital projects in the industry! As a Capital Projects Sourcing Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of pharmaceutical manufacturing at our client by leading sourcing and contracting for high-value construction and engineering initiatives.
Remote – EST highly preferred, but will take CST
Pay Range: $60-70/hr - Flexible
Start Date: 1/26 or 2/2
What You’ll Do:
- Take ownership of sourcing and contracting for a portfolio of large-scale capital projects, valued at $500 million each, as well as medium-sized projects.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a variety of spend categories, including Architectural & Engineering services, Construction Management, Automation Integration, Commissioning, Quality & Validation, and General Construction.
- Lead the end-to-end contracting process: select templates, negotiate terms, create contracts, and manage ongoing contract needs.
- Drive and implement sourcing strategies and purchasing solutions for the company’s U.S. Operations, ensuring best-in-class results.
- Serve as the go-to expert for procurement processes and systems, ensuring compliance and supporting project delivery teams.
- Execute e-sourcing (eRFX) for Capital Construction and Equipment teams, leveraging leading tools like Ariba and Sirion.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, Finance, and other functional teams to deliver value and support organizational goals.
- Manage contract documents, support renewals and renegotiations, and ensure procurement policies are followed.
What You’ll Bring/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of strategic sourcing or capital procurement experience.
- Hands-on experience with GMP pharmaceutical manufacturing and capital construction projects.
- Proven track record writing master agreements, orders, and amendments.
- Expertise with e-procurement tools (especially Ariba) and managing competitive RFPs and contract execution.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Flexibility and agility to manage a portfolio of projects and adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in sourcing, contracting, and project management, with an emphasis on negotiations.
- Background as a Sourcing or Procurement Lead on multiple project delivery teams.
- Familiarity with SAP, Sirion, Scout, and construction within the pharma industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of capital project sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and e-sourcing tools.
