Insight Global is seeking a full-time Quality Operations Manager to join a rapidly growing health supplements company based out of Summerville, SC. This position is responsible for providing overall leadership and direction for Quality Control operations, including raw material, in-process, and finished goods inspection, testing, and reprocessing activities. This role provides strategic and operational oversight of Quality Control inspection, sampling, testing, equipment readiness, and personnel development to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with cGMPs and applicable regulatory requirements. You will lead Quality Control Supervisors and inspection staff, partner closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams, and drives continuous improvement across Quality Control processes, capacity planning, and inspection effectiveness. The role requires strong technical judgment, people leadership, and the ability to balance compliance, operational efficiency, and business priorities in a regulated manufacturing environment. We are looking for very dependable candidates who have on call phone availability for any escalations. This full time role will be working onsite
Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm onsite in Summerville, SC.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8 years of hands-on Quality Control experience, preferably in a cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) environment - Supervisory and people management experience - Continuous improvement background - Science based Bachelor's Degree - Chemistry or Biology preferred - Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally - Ability to work first shift hours (Monday-Friday 8 am - 5 pm) onsite in Summerville, SC - Must be very dependable and have on call phone availability for any escalations
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience working in FDA-regulated pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or dry blending industries - PPCQI, CQA, CQE, Lean Six Sigma, or ASQ certifications - ETQ QMS experience - Microsoft Nav or Microsoft Business Central experience
Compensation:
$110,000 to $130,000 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
