The Mechanical QC Manager is responsible for ensuring mechanical construction projects meet strict quality standards across both field and office environments. This role oversees quality control processes, reviews work against codes and specifications, and works closely with technicians and project teams to maintain compliance and high-quality execution throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical contracting (commercial or light industrial)
- Strong subject matter expertise in mechanical systems
- Experience in mechanical quality control or commissioning (TAB preferred)
- Ability to oversee QC processes and manage 1–2 technicians
- Comfortable working both onsite and in office environments
- Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with industry codes and standards (ASME, NFPA, IPC/IMC, TAS)
Nice to Have:
- Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management degree
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Experience in semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or mission-critical environments
- Background in hospital or data center projects
- Leadership or project oversight experience
