Overview
We are seeking experienced Project Schedulers to join a high-performing scheduling team supporting a large portfolio of capital projects. This team plays a critical role in daily project scheduling, reporting, and portfolio visibility, ensuring alignment across Project Managers and leadership.
Each Scheduler will own a segment of the portfolio and act as a key partner to Project Managers, providing schedule updates, analysis, and insights that drive execution.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and manage detailed schedules for a portfolio of 100 active capital projects (adjusted based on complexity and workload)
- Partner directly with assigned Project Managers to support project planning, execution, and schedule optimization
- Perform daily/weekly schedule updates, including task progress, dependencies, and timelines
- Conduct schedule analysis (critical path, risk identification, variance tracking) and provide insights to stakeholders
- Consolidate and integrate project schedules into a Master Schedule under the guidance of the Team Lead
- Ensure schedules reflect accurate sequencing, resource allocation, and project milestones
- Communicate schedule updates, risks, and changes clearly to cross-functional teams
- Support continuous improvement of scheduling processes and reporting standards
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in project scheduling or project controls, supporting multiple concurrent projects
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Project (MS Project) for schedule creation, maintenance, and reporting
- Experience supporting large capital project portfolios (e.g., construction, manufacturing, engineering environments)
