We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Inspector to join our team and aid the successful execution of complex federal construction projects. This role is integral to maintaining the highest standards of quality, compliance, and functionality throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.

The Project Inspector’s responsibilities include
• Conduct thorough field inspections of all work, including materials, equipment, and workmanship, confirming compliance with construction documents and federal standards.
• Maintain detailed inspection logs, daily progress reports, defect and omission records, and coordinate with stakeholders for corrective actions.
• Review contractor quality control activities, third-party testing reports, and confirm adherence to approved health and safety plans.
• Collaborate with the customer, contractors, and other stakeholders to schedule inspections, resolve issues, and facilitate project progress. adherence to labor standards, environmental regulations, and safety protocols, including OSHA requirements.
• Participate in pre-final and final walkthroughs, consolidate punch lists, and confirm all documentation is complete for project turnover.
• Identify potential risks or delays and recommend remedial actions to mitigate impacts on the project schedule and budget.
Qualifications
• Minimum Requirement's
o High school diploma or equivalent.
o Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in construction inspection for projects of similar size and complexity, particularly roofing systems.
o Must be able to obtain a federal clearance
o Expertise in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
o Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of inspection and reporting.
o Knowledge of safety practices in the construction industry, including a background of familiarity with OSHA safety requirements on construction projects.
o Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
o Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve construction challenges effectively.
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
• Preferred Qualifications:
o Proficiency in construction management and inspection software tools.
o HSPD-12 clearance for federal facility access.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
