Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Scheduler to support a portfolio of capital projects within a fast-paced pharmaceutical and/or construction environment. This individual will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating detailed project schedules while partnering closely with Project Managers, project controls teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Project, capital project planning, and project controls in GMP-regulated, pharmaceutical, biotech, or construction environments. This role requires someone who is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple project schedules simultaneously.
Pay is expected between $45/hr and $95/hr, completely depending on experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules for multiple capital projects simultaneously
- Partner closely with Project Managers and project teams to track progress, identify schedule impacts, and maintain accurate timelines
- Integrate individual project schedules into larger master schedules under the direction of the Scheduling Lead or Project Controls team
- Perform schedule analysis including critical path analysis, forecasting, resource loading, and variance reporting
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to proactively identify risks or delays
- Support project controls activities including schedule reporting, change management, and progress tracking
- Facilitate regular schedule review meetings with project stakeholders and leadership teams
- Ensure schedules align with GMP requirements, project execution strategies, and operational constraints where applicable
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, construction, procurement, validation, and operations teams
- Generate routine schedule status updates, dashboards, and reports for leadership review
- Maintain schedule integrity and ensure accurate project documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Required Qualifications
- 5–10 years of project scheduling and/or project controls experience
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Project
- Experience supporting capital projects within pharmaceutical, biotech, GMP-regulated, or construction environments
- Experience managing multiple project schedules simultaneously
- Strong understanding of project controls principles, scheduling methodologies, and project lifecycle management
- Experience performing schedule analysis, forecasting, and critical path management
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in GMP-regulated environments
- Procore experience
- Experience with Primavera P6 or other scheduling tools
- Experience supporting large-scale construction, manufacturing, or facility expansion projects
- Familiarity with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and validation workflows
- PMP, PSP, or related project controls certifications are a plus
