POSITION: Project Manager
Location: based out of Galveston TX

Pay: 120k-160k
Our client is looking for Project Managers to support projects awarded by the CBP (Customs Border Patrol).
They will join the Federal Services Division in pursuit of heavy civil infrastructure projects throughout the Southwestern United States. The PM will be responsible for either one or multiple projects
The Federal Services Division has a growing backlog of civil infrastructure projects across the Southwestern United States and is aggressively pursuing additional project opportunities with federal clients such as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), and U.S. Department of State (DOS).
DAY TO DAY:
- Manage day to day execution of the project through all phases from initial startup, design and engineering, construction management, change management, closeout, commissioning, and warranty work
- Manage the project’s profit & loss to preserve profitability throughout the project’s life cycle.
- Manage and maintain a healthy client relationship while protecting company interests.
- Provide oversight of the design program to be managed by the Designer of Record, of construction operations to be managed by the Superintendent, of the safety program to be managed by the Safety Manager, of the quality program to be managed by the QC Manager, of the project schedule through the Scheduler, of AR and AP through the Project Comptroller.
- Negotiate and execute contracts and purchase orders with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Chair weekly and/or monthly project meetings with all interested stakeholders.
- Ensure all contract requirements, administrative or otherwise, are satisfied in a timely manner.
- Perform all other duties as may be assigned by the Project Executive or Division President.
MUST HAVES:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management required.
- 10 years’ experience as PM for heavy civil infrastructure projects valued $25M required.
- CBP REQUIRES:
- The work experiences Months/Years that overlap with other work experiences will not count toward the required 10 years of experience. The PM shall have worked as a PM on at least two federal design-build projects similar in scope or complexity to projects under this IDIQ and have served as the PM on at least 2 projects with each having a construction value of $10-million, or more.
- Advanced Degree (MBA, MS) or Professional Registration (PMP, PE) preferred.
- Experience with DOD/USACE/NAVFAC preferred - CBP/Border experience is a strong plus
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English required.
- Ability to successfully pass background/security check required.
- Strong proficiency with MS Office is required, and Primavera P6 is preferred.
Salary : $120,000 - $160,000
