Position: Project Manager/Engineer - Wastewater

Location: Newark, DE (Hybrid: 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager or Senior Engineer with a proven track record in wastewater infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to lead critical initiatives that improve community systems while enjoying a flexible hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple wastewater projects from design through construction and startup, ensuring timely delivery and budget compliance.
• Oversee projects such as: Wastewater treatment plant design and construction, Plant expansions and upgrades, Pump and lift station design and construction, and Elevated storage tank design and construction
• Manage the design process with outside consultants as well as onsite project oversight as the owner’s representative during construction.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, most notably wastewater operations, as well as outside stakeholders including contractors, regulators, property owners, and inspectors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 8 years of experience in wastewater engineering or managing wastewater construction projects
• Proven background in project or construction management
• Hands-on experience with wastewater-related projects
• PE license (preferred, not required)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 (based on experience and education)
