What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Insight Global?
IG is looking to hire a Program Director to support a five-year Rural Health Transformation Program initiative, bringing FDA-cleared cardiac screening and virtual cardiology access to rural Tennessee communities. This is the most important hire we will make for the program: a Program Director who owns it end to end, accountable for delivery, compliance, and results across every phase, site, and county. We need someone who lives in the details, not just the vision.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Recruit and sign participating practices, working with community partners and county coordinators to identify the right fit in each launch county
- Own end-to-end program delivery, including budget, timeline, compliance, and outcomes, from Phase 1 launch through statewide scale
- Maintain the master program schedule, risk register, and milestone tracker across every workstream, site, and county
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the State of Tennessee, including Partner Portal reporting and grant compliance
- Chair the Program Steering Committee, aligning Peerbridge, Heartbeat Health, participating practices, and community partners
- Drive the phased expansion decision at each milestone (new counties, new populations, or both) based on real performance data
- Travel regularly to launch counties to see the program firsthand and support site teams on the ground
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 6-8 years managing complex, multi-stakeholder programs with several concurrent workstreams and external partners
- Direct experience administering federal or state grant funds. This role owns RHTP compliance for the award: compliance, reporting to the Tennessee Department of Health and CMS, and financial administration. Peerbridge does not carry a separate grants administrator, so this sits with you.
- A rigorous, detail-obsessed approach to project management: comfortable owning a full risk register, milestone tracker, and budget-to-actuals view
- Fluency with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, Agile/Waterfall/hybrid frameworks); PMP or equivalent certification a plus
- Comfort owning budget, timeline, and compliance simultaneously, with rigor
- A bias for being in the field, not just managing from a dashboard
- Strong written and verbal communication as this person represents Peerbridge to the State
Salary : $130,000 - $165,000
