About This Role
Learn & Grow Creative Arts Center LLC is an inclusive, secular school located in Hermitage, TN. Learn & Grow offers a creative curriculum with a focus on a STEAM based academic approach including ASL, art, dance, English language arts, geography, music, science, Spanish, outdoor exploration, and much more.
L&G CAC is currently accepting applications for a Program Director to join our amazing school!
What You'll Do
- Develop and implement a careful and creative program suitable for Infants/Toddlers/Preschoolers along side the Executive & Assistant Directors.
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
- Observe each child and teacher to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Guide children and teachers to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts etc.)
- Supervise children and teachers to ensure they are safe at all times
- Collaborate with Admin., staff, and parents
- Maintain a clean and tidy school consistent with health and safety standards.
Requirements
This position is immediate hire with the passing of a background check, completing the required online trainings, providing 3 references, and a physical. Applicants must have a copy of their highest level of education. Previous experience in the Director or Assistant Director position in a childcare center and knowledge of DHS rules with at least 2 years of previous teaching experience. All applicants will receive substantial on the job training once hired.

- Proven experience as a Director
- Knowledge of the QRIS rating system and having the expectations of receiving 100 point each visit.
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods
- Familiarity with and the ability to implement safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Friendly, reliable, and organized
- Understanding a balance between creativity and structured classroom expectations
- Certification in infant/child CPR
- Minimum education level = CDA or Associate's degree
