Duties:
We’re seeking a hands-on, results-driven Production Supervisor to lead a team of union hourly workers at our Tonawanda manufacturing facility. This role supports a high-impact initiative for a Fortune 100 company and plays a critical part in driving operational excellence, safety, and team performance across shifts.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, coach, and motivate a crew of union hourly employees to meet daily production goals while fostering a respectful and collaborative work environment.
- Shift Management: Oversee operations across assigned shifts, ensuring smooth handoffs, consistent output, and adherence to schedules.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols. Conduct regular safety audits and lead incident investigations when necessary.
- Production Oversight: Monitor workflow, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and implement process improvements to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet quality standards through regular inspections and coordination with the QA team.
- Labor Relations: Partner with HR and union representatives to maintain positive labor relations and resolve workforce issues proactively.
- Training & Development: Support onboarding and cross-training of employees to build a flexible and skilled workforce.
- Reporting & Metrics: Track production KPIs, maintain accurate shift reports, and communicate performance updates to leadership.
Must Haves
- HS diploma or bachelors degree
- 2 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a production/manufacturing environment
- In lieu of plant experience, any military or law enforcement
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage a team effectively, adapt to changing priorities, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Timekeeping software (Kronos, etc.) and proficient using Microsoft Office products

Compensation:
$30/hr - $40/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
