Role Description & Skills
We’re seeking a highly motivated Production Manager out of Duluth, GA, to lead manufacturing operations for industrial actuators and control systems. You’ll supervise 3–4 direct reports, drive lean practices, and ensure efficient workflows, high-quality output, and on‑time delivery.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small production team; set goals, coach, and conduct performance feedback.
- Own daily production planning, scheduling, and job prioritization to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Implement and sustain Lean/5S, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner with Supply Chain on ordering, inventory, and supplier coordination; resolve material constraints quickly.
- Oversee ERP-driven workflows (e.g., SAP/Oracle/QuickBooks/Intuit) for work orders, BOMs, and production transactions.
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance; support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Track and report KPIs (output, cycle time, OTD, first‑pass yield); drive actions against gaps.
Required Experience
- 5 years in a production management role within an industrial/electromechanical manufacturing environment.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks/Intuit or similar).
- Practical knowledge of ordering and working with suppliers.
Pluses
- P&L exposure or budget ownership.
Compensation: $75,000 to $85,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
