JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor with a strong fabrication and welding background to oversee daily shop operations and support field installation projects. This individual will serve as a key leader within the organization, helping manage personnel, projects, inventory, safety compliance, and production timelines. The role is highly visible and hands-on, spending approximately 50% of the time in the fabrication shop and 50% supporting project:
-Project management
-Equipment and parts ordering
-Safety and OSHA regulation adherence
-Timekeeping and hours
-Interviews, Hiring, and Training
-Coordination between technicians, engineers, and clients
You will also be responsible for walking around the shop to check in on project status, answer technician questions, and assist on projects as required to meet deadlines.
This role is a Monday- Friday role, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2 years of experience managing teams larger than 20 people in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication
- Experience interviewing and making hiring decisions for technician level roles.
- Experience with some type of project management software, and inventory software.
- Knowledge of shipping, and instillation coordination.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience using SCADA software
- Knowledge of painting, powder coating, and finishing equipment
Pay Rate: $70,000-80,000
Salary : $70,000 - $80,000
