Title: BIM Coordinator
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Location: Onsite in Boise, ID
Must-Haves:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3 years of BIM or VDC coordination experience
- Experience within construction, architecture, engineering, or AEC industries
- Proficiency with Navisworks for clash detection and model navigation
- Experience using Revit to review and update building models
- Experience supporting large industrial projects highly preferred: Semiconductor, Datacenter, Battery Manufacturing, Hospital, Pharmaceutical, or Oil Refinery
Plusses:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or related field
- Experience with Newforma Konekt
- Advanced manufacturing project experience
- Hyper-scale construction project experience
Day-to-Day:
- Serve as the technical BIM advisor at the field office
- Support BIM setup and standards development
- Coordinate and manage model families
- Run clash detection studies and resolve coordination issues
- Maintain BIM model libraries
- Ensure construction geometry is accurate
- Present models and construction information clearly to field crews
- Support model review, updates, and ongoing coordination efforts
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to drive BIM standards and best practices
Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a BIM Coordinator for a leading construction client supporting a hyper-scale advanced manufacturing project in Boise, Idaho. This candidate will act as the onsite BIM subject matter expert, helping manage project models, coordinate design and construction teams, perform clash detection analyses, and maintain BIM standards throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring strong Navisworks and Revit experience, along with a background supporting large-scale industrial construction projects. This is a long-term opportunity with potential for extension and offers the chance to work on a high-profile, cutting-edge manufacturing build.
Compensation: Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
