Required Skills & Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or medical office certification preferred.Minimum 2 year of experience in a medical front desk or PSC role.Experience in outpatient clinic setting required.Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and remain organized in a busy environment.Familiarity with insurance verification and patient billing processes. Preferred Skills & Experience:Epic EMR experience highly preferred.Experience with endocrine-specific workflows (e.g., diabetes education, lab coordination).Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations.Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus.Experience with patient scheduling systems and referral management. Key Responsibilities:Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival.Verify patient demographics, insurance, and referral information.Collect copays and outstanding balances.Ensure all necessary forms and consents are completed.Schedule follow-up appointments, lab work, and referrals at check-out.Communicate effectively with clinical staff to support patient flow.Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR.Answer phones, respond to messages, and assist with patient inquiries.Support front desk operations including scanning, faxing, and filing.
