Insight Global is seeking an experienced Sales Representative for our client that is a leading provider of oil and gas services, specializing in welding and pipeline construction. They are expanding their portfolio to include inspection, project management, and broader construction services for 2026. The Sales Representative will market the company and services, drive new business, and strengthen relationships within the oil and gas industry. This individual will report to the office 2x a week and will be responsible for attending client lunches and dinners, meetings, various networking event around the area. The standard working hours are 8:30-5pm.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan.
- Build and maintain relationships with procurement teams and decision-makers in oil and gas construction.
- Secure MSAs (Master Service Agreements
- Diversify client portfolio and identify new revenue streams.
- Schedule and attend client lunches and networking events
- Travel within Houston and surrounding areas (1–2 hours driving daily).
Desired Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of sales experience in oil and gas
- Understanding of procurement and oil and gas services
- Experience generating business and closing deals (vetting, MSA process, closing)
- Comfortable being a 1099 employee
Compensation:
$95k - 125k base salary commission
This will be a 1099 position
