Insight Global is seeking a Network Support Engineer supporting large-scale industrial and energy infrastructure projects. The position will sit in Alpharetta, GA on a hybrid basis.
The team is looking for someone with experience across enterprise networking, Cisco environments, firewalls, servers, and IT/OT infrastructure. The work includes network design, deployment, troubleshooting, cybersecurity, and supporting SCADA and industrial control environments.
Experience with industrial protocols, virtualization, Linux, automation, or renewable energy projects would be especially relevant.
Required Qualifications
• 3 years of experience in network architecture and support, TCP/IP protocols, troubleshooting, security and hardware management. Familiarity with industrial protocols for OT environments.
• Proficiency in configuring and maintaining enterprise network equipment (servers, switches, routers, firewalls). Strong understanding of network protocols, topologies, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience in configuring Enterprise grade firewalls, routers, switches (e.g. Cisco) and IT/OT infrastructure (servers, SAN, NAS, etc.)
This role offers a mix of network architecture, hands-on deployment, and field support with exposure to complex operational environments.
6 month contract to hire.
Hourly Rate starting at $45hr
