Converting Salary: $105,000-$124,000

Requirements:
- Active secret clearance (TS/SCI eligible)
- CCNA
- 5 years' experience with: installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches.
- Deep level of understanding/experience with enterprise level network architectures/configurations
Insight Global is looking for Network Administrators for a government contract. These individuals will be working on a military base doing all network and system support for all of the Air Force.
The day to day is as follows:
- Analyzes and simulates network traffic to aide in problem resolution or to test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
- Monitors system utilization and circuit bandwidth then reports anomalies to Government team leads.
- Develop, execute, modify or remove scripts to assist in automation of tasks, as possible.
- Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate re-work or for auditing/investigation purposes.
- Notify appropriate Information Technical Equipment Custodian (ITEC) or Property Custodian (PC), in writing, within 4 hours for all accountable item moves.
- Neatly bundle and conceal all excess system or peripheral cabling after each installation or repair.
