Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and submit insurance claims in a timely manner.
- Verify patient insurance coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Monitor and follow up on unpaid or denied claims; resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and all applicable regulations.
Qualifications:
- Certification in medical billing/coding (CPC, CCA, or similar)
- 3 years of medical billing/coding experience, preferably in physical therapy or outpatient services.
