This role focuses on aircraft systems and involves supporting program depot maintenance for E4 or 747 commercial derivative aircraft. Candidate will play a key role in creating schedules, overseeing modifications, and ensuring airworthiness standards are met.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 10 years of Mechanical Engineering experience with aircraft systems
- Experience on E4 aircraft or 747 commercial derivative aircraft
- Knowledge of aircraft process and manufacturing
- EDM Scheduling and FAA Airworthiness expertise
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- System testing and integration experience
- Aircraft systems modifications
- Digital Engineering and DMSMS knowledge
- EMI/EMC familiarity
- Understanding of U.S. Air Force acquisition processes and military standards
- Top Secret clearance and/or Master’s degree
Day-to-Day:
Candidate will oversee complete aircraft overhauls, ensure timelines and processes are accurate, and travel about 25% to maintenance sites. This role involves collaborating with manufacturing teams, identifying efficiencies, and reviewing designs for repair efforts.
Salary up to $160,000 annually
