Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to work onsite in the Charleson, SC area. This person will be responsible for driving safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing performance while developing front-line leaders and supporting long-term operational strategy.
The Manufacturing Manager will oversee day-to-day production activities, ensure process discipline through Control Plans, Standard Work, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and lead continuous improvement efforts focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop front-line leaders to achieve departmental and business goals.
- Provide day-to-day leadership and accountability for manufacturing operations.
- Foster a zero-injury culture through visible safety leadership and adherence to established safety processes.
- Ensure effective use and execution of Control Plans, Standard Work, and Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
- Establish and maintain stable, repeatable, and controlled manufacturing processes.
- Drive improvements in safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, and operational costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams in implementing new processes and operational improvements.
- Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies to identify and resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Engineering
- 2-5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
- 3 years of technical problem-solving experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven ability to develop, coach, and lead front-line supervisors and production teams.
- Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Demonstrated success improving Safety, Quality, Productivity, and overall operational performance.
- Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience supporting the implementation of new manufacturing processes and strategic initiatives.
Salary : $130,000 - $150,000
