What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Manager, Data Science & AI position at Insight Global?
Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other computer-related degree required.
- Strong fundamental background in data science, machine learning, computer science, AI, etc - must be able to keep up technically with the team
- 10 years of diversified IT experience required
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading professional staff / managing a team
- Market and sell the data science team's capabilities to business units — must be a strong communicator and storyteller
Plusses:
- Agentic AI - this is the unicorn qualifier
- Has worked for a large/similar size company previously
- Master’s Degree in Data Science or Ph.D. in a relevant field, especially with a focus on machine learning or AI is preferred.

Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
