Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Information Systems Analyst to join our team on a 12-month contract. This role involves reviewing and entering historical evidence into a web-based evidence system, as well as assisting with logging new evidence during the contract period. The position requires handling electronic devices, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with legal and forensic standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain chain of custody for electronic devices received internally or via mail.
- Review digital evidence on hard drives and confirm data matches inventory logs.
- Prepare Excel documents using a specific template for upload into a web-based evidence management system.
- Validate accuracy of data entered into the evidence system.
- Verify documentation and devices match reported information.
- Perform high-volume data entry from documentation and electronic devices (e.g., employee identifiers, device details).
- Identify and report inconsistencies in documentation or devices.
- Print and affix labels to documentation and devices.
- Organize documentation and devices for short-term storage and long-term retention.
- Adhere to digital forensic principles for evidence handling and preservation.
- Follow all data handling, safety, and security policies.
- Lift and handle bins containing hard drives, laptops, and other devices (50 lbs).
- Work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.

Additional Information
