POSITION: Incentive Compensation Systems Engineer
LOCATION: Irving, TX 75039 (Hybrid: 4-Days Onsite/Week)
PAY RANGE: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour ($145k - $165k / year)
DURATION: 6-Months / Contract-To-Hire
SUMMARY & OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Incentive Compensation Systems Engineer (Varicent is preferred) to join our team. In this role, you will configure, manage, and enhance Varicent applications to ensure accurate commission processing and reporting. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions that streamline processes, improve cycle times, and drive innovation across the organization.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of software development experience, preferably with Varicent ICM (or similar platforms - i.e. Xactly, CallidusCloud, SAP ICM, Optymyze, CaptivateIQ, etc.).
- Expertise in designing, developing, and testing ELT processes and methodologies.
- Strong SQL skills for query optimization, performance tuning, and report development.
- Experience in business analysis and creating technical documentation for Varicent projects.
- Advanced JavaScript skills, including debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
- Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and quickly learn new technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Hands-on experience with Varicent ICM Composer and administration.
- Knowledge of Varicent Workflows and Inquiry Management.
- Familiarity with Presenter Structure, Adaptive Reports, and Report Data Models.
- Experience with Varicent Symon AI or similar ELT tools.
- Background in banking, financial services, or other regulated industries.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies and related tools.
- Strong analytical mindset with a focus on process optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
Compensation:
$70.00 - $80.00 per hour
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave and other paid time off benefits as required under the applicable law of the worksite location.
