About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced Foreclosure Specialist to join their dynamic Foreclosure team. In this role, you’ll manage high-priority foreclosure cases, collaborate with attorneys and internal departments, and ensure compliance with all regulations. You’ll play a critical part in evaluating foreclosure figures, addressing litigation matters, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage foreclosure cases from pre-foreclosure through post-foreclosure stages.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Capital Markets, REO, Bankruptcy, Accounting, Collateral) and third-party servicers.
- Evaluate and approve foreclosure figures, including judgment amounts, bidding instructions, reinstatement quotes, and payoff calculations.
- Communicate daily with the Director of Asset Management and foreclosure attorneys.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in software systems.
- Ensure compliance with foreclosure regulations and stay current on legislative changes.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4 years of relevant experience with direct foreclosure expertise.
- Hands-on experience with Judicial and Non-Judicial foreclosure processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple loans simultaneously.
Compensation:
$80,000/yr to $100,000/yr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
