Environmental Services Specialist

About the Role

The Environmental Services Associate is responsible for cleaning and maintaining assigned areas to ensure customer, client, and patient satisfaction. Duties may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Follow established procedures to maintain a safe work environment in compliance with OSHA, state/local and federal regulations.
• Clean and sanitize patient/resident rooms, including:
• Vacuuming, high and low dusting
• Bed making and stripping
• Removing general and hazardous waste
• Clean restrooms using proper infection control procedures.
• Maintain and clean housekeeping equipment accurately.
• Follow proper procedures for trash storage, disposal, and transport to designated areas.
• Report maintenance issues through work order requests.
• Secure the facility by locking/unlocking as required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Previous custodial experience preferred
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions

Required Skills

• Ability to follow established procedures
• Attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a healthcare environment
• Knowledge of infection control procedures

Pay range and compensation package

• PR: $15/hr
• Start Date: December 15th
