About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Program Manager to support the Air Force Civil Engineer Squadron at the U.S. Air Force Academy. This position plays a vital role in maintaining compliance with environmental standards and ensuring state-of-the-art facilities for future Air Force leaders.
Key Responsibilities
- Train installation personnel and contractors on environmental programs
- Prepare spill reports as needed
- Enter data into the Air Force Enterprise Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health Management Information System (EESOH-MIS)
- Update Environmental Management Plans
- Assist with preparation and renewal of environmental permits
- Ensure accurate record keeping and compliance documentation
- Conduct compliance inspections and provide audit support
- Collect project-related data, including research and field visits
- Perform complex assignments with independent judgment
- Work independently and assist senior staff on larger projects
- Other related duties as required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or related field
- 5 years of technical and/or field experience preparing environmental documents
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel)
- Strong environmental writing and communication skills
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and research abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- U.S. Citizenship (required by client contract)
- Ability to pass a government background check
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Air Force Civil Engineering Squadron environmental flight experience
- Ability to work on-site at the U.S. Air Force Academy

Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
