Industrial & Engineering Technician III
Location: Colonial Heights, 23834
Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM (with shift differential and breaks)
6-month contract-to-hire!
Pay rate: $30-36/hour (plus $2 shift differential!)
Must have at least 4 years of electromechanical experience in an industrial environment
Insight Global is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineering Technician with an electro-mechanical background to support a leading manufacturer in industrial manufacturing systems. They are built on a collaborative environment, delivering fresh thinking and quality customer service!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and uphold quality assurance standards for all equipment.
- Read and interpret schematics; execute soldering and wiring tasks, including component-level electronics repairs.
- Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems and generator equipment.
- Service and repair hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct testing and evaluation of equipment performance and reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve issues in robotics and automation systems, ensuring smooth operation.
- Troubleshoot and program PLC systems (Programmable Logic Controllers), including ladder logic and related controls.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial setting "480v 420v"
