Must Haves:High School diploma or GED.Minimum of a two-year degree in electrical or electro-mechanical technology, or other relevant degrees in which the majority of the curriculum is related to electronics, electrical or electro-mechanical assembly/repair/diagnostics.4-7 years of related experience within PCB or SolderingExperience in building electrical control panel or electrical system integration experience.Intermediate IT SkillsGood mechanical aptitude using hand and power tools. D2D:Insight Global is looking for a an Electrical Assembler is wholly responsible for the quality of the products/goods produced. The electrical assembler will assemble subassemblies, final assemblies, complete associate paperwork including documenting serial numbers for part tracing, load firmware/software, and conduct required testing. Responsible for production of manufactured electromechanical environmental monitoring instrumentation. The main function of the role is to ensure that all manufactured/serviced items are built/serviced, calibrated and tested to ensure optimum quality for the customer. Work is to be completed to a high standard with zero defects. Examples of activities include manufacturing & servicing (to work instruction) of GA, Gxxx, Fixed Position Systems, etc. Completion of associated paperwork and IT requirements. Job Responsibilities:Must have experience working with PCB, electrical wiring, and electrical componentsExcellent soldering and de-soldering skillsSolder/Mount assembled components, such as, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits and sockets on chassis panels & on PCBs.Train and mentor junior level assemblersMust have good technical background and understand basic electronicsUse hand tools such as crimps, stakes, wire strippers, cements, press fits, or similar hand toolsMust be able to pot required componentsMust be able to tin wiresMust be able to work with small componentsLayout control boxes; drill and punch. Layout back panels; drill and tap.Plan, layout and perform diversified wiring on a variety of custom and standard products.Loading firmware/software onto required subassemblies/final productsTest electrical controls and adjust as requiredAbility to follow strict rules and procedures to meet Good Manufacturing Process and Safety requirements.Assist the supervisor and alert him/her to non-conforming components.Ability to maintain inventory accuracy.Ability to work effectively, unsupervised, under own initiativeExcellent eye for detail.Strong communication skills.Strong teamwork capability, supporting others when required.Perform other duties as assigned.
