A global law firm is looking to bring on a Desktop Support/Refresh Analyst to join their team onsite in Boston 5 days a week. The role is 8AM-5PM EST. We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to support a large-scale laptop/monitor refresh and upgrade initiative. This role will focus primarily on hardware deployment, configuration, and refresh activities with limited end-user support.
This is a fast-paced, onsite opportunity ideal for candidates who have previously supported enterprise refresh projects and are comfortable working independently in a structured environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute enterprise-wide laptop/monitor refresh and upgrade project, including imaging, deployment, and setup
- Perform installation, configuration, and replacement of laptops, desktops, and related hardware
- Support Windows-based systems, ensuring proper configuration within the corporate environment
- Unbox, stage, and prepare devices for deployment across the organization
- Troubleshoot basic hardware/software issues during deployment
- Provide light end-user support as needed during refresh process
- Track and document asset deployment and updates accurately
- Ensure all devices are compliant with company standards and policies
Required Qualifications
- 4 years of desktop support experience in an enterprise environment
- Proven experience supporting a laptop/desktop refresh or migration project
- Strong experience with Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11)
- Hands-on experience with:
- Laptop / desktop hardware deployment and troubleshooting
- Device setup, imaging, and configuration
- Experience with Microsoft Suite (Teams, Active Directory, etc)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Nice to Have
- Experience working in a professional services or legal environment
- Familiarity with enterprise tools (ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems)
- Basic understanding of:
- Active Directory
- Networking fundamentals (DNS/DHCP)
Day-to-Day
- Focus heavily on refresh execution (majority of workload)
- Handle a small volume of support tickets alongside project work
- Coordinate with IT teams to ensure smooth rollout of new devices
- Maintain accurate tracking of inventory and deployment status
