Data Reporting Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Extract patient data from Athena and organize it in Excel.
• Format and enhance data in Adobe to create visually appealing reports.
• Convert Word documents into PDFs for distribution to clinical leadership.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards when handling PHI.
• Access and manage files across multiple platforms
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Day to Day:

A healthcare client in the South Florida area seeking a Data Reporting Specialist to create visually appealing patient “report cards” that summarize key health insights. This role involves extracting data from Athena into Excel, formatting and enhancing the information in Adobe InDesign (or Adobe Acrobat Pro for simpler formatting), and producing Word documents that are converted into PDFs for review by the Chief Medical Officer. The ideal candidate will have strong data configuration skills, proficiency with Adobe tools and Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate multiple portals such as Dropbox and Athena. Because the role involves handling Protected Health Information (PHI), HIPAA certification is required (certification can be provided by the client).
