Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for a Senior-level Data Analyst for a large retail company's data, reporting and analytics organization located in Vancouver, WA. In this position as a Senior Data Analyst, you will accelerate the development and optimization of analytics solutions that support strategic leaders across their Agile delivery ecosystem. We are looking for someone who can bring technical expertise in SQL, dashboarding, and Agile tools, with strong experience in Atlassian Analytics. This assignment is pivotal in driving the development and optimization of agile methodologies and analytics solutions that support strategic leaders.
Day to Day:
- Develop and optimize analytics solutions, dashboards, and reporting models that support strategic leaders across the Agile delivery organization.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries to analyze data and deliver actionable business insights.
- Build, enhance, and automate dashboards and reports using Atlassian Analytics, Jira, and Microsoft tools.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Leverage AI-assisted analysis techniques to improve reporting efficiency and uncover meaningful trends.
- Perform forecasting, statistical analysis, and data modeling to support planning and decision-making.
- Monitor and analyze Agile delivery metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement.
- Apply Scrum and Lean methodologies to improve reporting processes, team effectiveness, and delivery outcomes.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and decision support to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Ensure the timely delivery of accurate, high-quality reporting and analytics that drive strategic initiatives.
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience as a Data Analyst
- Strong SQL, dashboarding, AI-assisted analysis experience
- Proficiency with Atlassian Analytics and Microsoft applications
- Python and basic forecasting/statistics
- Development and implementation of effective reporting models
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and optimization
- Hands-on experience with Scrum and Lean methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strategic thinking and decision-making support
