Day to Day
Insight Global is hiring several CPC Coding Professionals (Profee Coders) to join one of their large healthcare clients. The role is responsible for abstracting billing for outpatient evaluation and management codes, surgical procedures, and HCPCS codes (including supplies and pharmaceuticals) from provider documentation. Responsibilities include assigning CPT-4 and ICD-10-CM codes with appropriate modifiers, investigating coding and billing questions to determine approach, and analyzing medical records to verify coding accuracy and detect misuse. The role also requires working closely with analysts in Coding, Charge, and Audit to resolve any discrepancies. A candidate should have solid understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, proficiency in Microsoft Windows, and strong attention to detail. Experience with EPIC or EMR systems is preferred.
