The Role
The Controller will be responsible for the financial integrity of our client — overseeing the full accounting function, financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls. This person will work closely with senior management and across departments to ensure accuracy and quality in all financial statements and reporting cycles.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of general accounts and internal financial controls
- Manage the financial accounting system (NetSuite primary)
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and semi-annual reporting cycles
- Manage the full audit process including IRS 990 and financial statements
- Cash management and risk management
- Investor relations reporting and investment portfolio management
- Ensure adherence to FASB Accounting Standards
- Support CFO/CEO with preparation of monthly and annual financial plans and budgets
- Approve and release payroll batch and support 401k administration
- Support HR function and office management as needed
- Effectively communicate potential financial risks in a timely manner
- Support loan funding approvals — Day 1 responsibility, banking access set up immediately
Salary : $110,000 - $130,000
