Title: Continuous Improvement Manager
Location: Longview, TX - onsite
Duration: Full time - direct hire
Compensation:
$115,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare

Required Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field (this they can be flexible on for the right experience -- they have tuition reimbursement and can work with them)
* 5–8 years in manufacturing or operations
* 3–5 years leading or supporting Continuous Improvement / Lean initiatives
* Experience in tier 1 automotive or aerospace mature industries
* Proven experience facilitating Kaizen events, Gemba walks, and Lean activities
* Be able to explain how they fully owned and drove Kaizen events. How they guided their teams and streamlined the entire process, what the results were, etc.
* Green Belt, Black Belt, or Six Sigma certifications
* Hands‑on Lean Manufacturing background (VSM, Standard Work, 5S, RCA, PDCA, etc.)
* Demonstrated ability to drive waste reduction, process stability, and throughput improvements
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret operational data and support decision‑making
* Experience influencing teams without direct authority
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
* Experience supporting multi‑site CI initiatives
* Working knowledge of financial concepts and cost drivers (P&L exposure helpful)
* Additional Lean trainings or certifications

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Manager of Continuous Improvement to lead and sustain site‑level Lean and Operational Excellence initiatives across their Longview manufacturing campus. This leader will serve as the on‑site CI owner, partnering closely with plant leadership and frontline teams to drive waste reduction, process stability, quality improvement, and a culture of continuous improvement. The ideal candidate is a hands‑on CI practitioner who thrives on the production floor, influences without authority, and delivers measurable operational impact.
