Title: Estimator – Concrete Construction

A leading concrete construction company is looking to bring on an Estimator to join their preconstruction team. This is a high-impact role where you’ll own the estimating process from early bid stages through project handoff, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do
- Lead and support the full estimating and bidding lifecycle for concrete projects
- Evaluate bid opportunities and determine project fit
- Partner directly with general contractors, developers, and owners
- Perform quantity takeoffs, pricing, and proposal development
- Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors and vendors to secure competitive pricing
- Act as the main point of contact throughout the bidding process
- Identify and pursue relationship-driven and off-market opportunities
- Assist with project transition post-award (budget alignment, scheduling, manpower planning)
What You Bring
- 5 years of construction estimating experience
- Strong background in concrete construction
- Experience supporting or managing the full preconstruction lifecycle (bids, proposals, awards)
- Proficiency with tools like On-Screen Takeoff (OST), Bluebeam, Excel, or Sage Timberline
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with clients and partners
Nice to Have
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Existing industry relationships in the concrete or construction space
