Our higher education client is seeking a Business Analyst with a strong HRIS background to join their team on a permanent basis. Hybrid 1 day per week onsite in Indy!
Position: Business Analyst
Location: Northside of Indianapolis - onsite 1x per week
Duration: Direct Hire
Salary: $70K-75k and GREAT benefits!
- Could go up to $90k for someone with Workday experience
Must-haves
- Associate degree or equivalent experience required; Bachelor’s preferred.
- 1 year HRIS experience and 1 year HR experience; Workday preferred.
Day-to-Day
Under the HR Systems Architect’s direction, this role maintains and supports the College’s HR system, primarily Workday HCM, to ensure optimal performance and an exceptional employee experience. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, process improvement, researching new functionality, and implementing system solutions aligned with HR’s strategic goals. The position also provides user support and participates in managing HR applications, integrations, and reports.
- Provide Tier II support for Workday HCM issues; resolve escalations promptly.
- Participate in bi-annual Workday releases: testing, UAT, and prioritizing enhancements.
- Perform routine Workday tasks (e.g., EIB uploads, audits, scheduling).
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and IT on enhancements and new functionality.
- Gather requirements, design, test, document, and deploy system updates.
- Conduct design sessions to align solutions with business goals.
- Develop training materials and deliver end-user training.
- Engage in Workday Community for research and knowledge sharing.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and share insights with HR leadership.
Salary : $70,000 - $75,000
