A company in the Akron area is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team to help design, implement, and drive adoption of a standardized sales process within Salesforce. This individual will partner with sales, marketing, compliance, operations, and technology teams to improve how prospect and client activity is managed throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate has strong business analysis experience, hands-on knowledge of Salesforce, and experience translating business needs into scalable processes, workflows, and system requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Document current-state processes and define standardized future-state workflows within Salesforce.
Establish consistent processes for managing prospects from Lead through Opportunity and ongoing relationship management.
Partner with business stakeholders to identify process gaps and recommend improvements.
Gather and document business and functional requirements through interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions.
Create process maps, workflows, user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements.
Translate sales methodologies into measurable CRM requirements, dashboards, and reporting.
Define KPIs such as stage adherence, required-field completion, and time-in-stage.
Develop requirements for tracking missed or skipped sales process milestones.
Partner with technical teams to ensure Salesforce solutions align with business objectives.
Create and execute test plans and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Validate system enhancements prior to deployment.
Support releases, implementations, user adoption, and post-launch stabilization.
Required Qualifications
5 years of Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst experience.
3 years of experience supporting Salesforce CRM initiatives.
Strong experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Understanding of lead management, sales pipelines, and CRM processes.
Experience creating process maps, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Experience facilitating workshops and partnering with cross-functional teams
