JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant/Bookkeeper to manage financial records and ensure accurate reporting for our client out of Santa Ana, CA. This role is ideal for someone who is looking for a part time position who can work independently and maintain organized, up-to-date financial data for their business.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
• Prepare and update financial reports as needed.
• Assist with budgeting and expense tracking.
• Ensure compliance with basic accounting principles and company policies.
• Communicate with management regarding financial status and any discrepancies.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Must Have
• Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
• Strong proficiency with QuickBooks.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Familiarity with payroll processing.
• Experience with tax preparation support.
Schedule:
Part-time role: MWF 2pm-6pm working roughly 4 hours a day for 8-12 hours a week.
Compensation
$35/hr to $40/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
