Azure Architect

Must-Haves:

• Proven success working as an Azure Architect; experience successfully leading green field Azure implementations, modernizations, and optimizations.
• Leading both design and implementations of Azure components and Azure cloud integrations.
• Experience setting up Automation tools, such as PowerShell, Terraform, Azure CLI.
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines in an Azure environment and other DevOps components.
• Expertise in Azure services such as Azure AD, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure DevOps.
• Background in on premise network management.
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to create efficient strategy and give clear direction.

Required Certification:

• Azure Solutions Architect Cert.

Day to day:

The Azure Architect will design, implement, and oversee cloud-based solutions utilizing Microsoft Azure. This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in cloud architecture to guide infrastructure modernization, application migration, and operational optimization in alignment with business goals. The Azure Architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, security, and efficiency of Azure-based systems while staying current with emerging cloud technologies. The Azure Architect will play a huge role in creating governance and security policies to ensure the developing cloud environment is secure. This role is a 1-year contract with rolling extensions. The schedule is Monday-Friday 8 AM - 5 PM onsite. The pay rate ranges from $65-$75/hour based on experience and skillset. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
