JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking an Audio-Visual (AV) Systems Engineer to support and optimize conference room technologies. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining AV solutions, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with senior engineers to improve system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite support for AV systems (video conferencing, displays, audio)
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV issues; maintain documentation and inventory
- Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics
- Train end users on AV systems and best practices
- Assist with system design, integration projects, and remote monitoring
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field
- Strong understanding of AV systems and signal flow (5-8 years)
- Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking basics
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Teams, Zoom, Webex, Crestron, Extron
- AV/IT certifications (AVIXA CTS, ITIL, Microsoft 365)
- Exposure to AV-over-IP, control systems, and enterprise conferencing platforms
Compensation:
$40/hr to $50/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
