Job Summary
Insight Global seeking to hire 6 Assembly Operators to support their manufacturing client based out of Hampton, VA. You’ll be assembling components, testing electronic/mechanical assemblies, interpreting technical documents, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards. No in person Interview Required! Shift 1 paying $21/hr and Shift 2 paying $23.10/hr.
Responsibilities
- Assemble components following standardized work instructions and detailed drawings
- Test electronic and mechanical assemblies requiring precision and strong hand-eye coordination
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, SOPs, and OMS documents accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in line with 5S principles
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies
- Use microscopes and small hand tools for detailed assembly and inspection work
- Demonstrate continuous improvement mindset in daily activities
Qualifications
- 1 years of experience in small scale component electrical assembly (ie. PCB, control boards, sensors)
- Electronic testing experience
- Familiarity with microscopes and small hand tools
- High School Diploma or GED
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $21.00 - $23.10 per hour
