Assembler

Duration: 3 month contract with extensions and possible conversion to full-time

Schedule: Four 10 hour shift per week

JOB DESCRIPTION

A client of Insight Global is looking for 8 Assemblers to join their team in Melbourne, FL! The Assemblers will be responsible for reading and understanding drawings and schematics. They will be responsible for material handling, inspections and assembly under a microscope working with small, fragile parts to build intensifier tube components. They will process the components through various assigned assembly operations, handling fragile electronic components.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Assembler B: HS Diploma & 4 years of experience OR A.A. & 0-2 years of experience

· Assembler C: HS Diploma & 6 years of experience OR A.A. & 2 years of experience

· Assembler D: HS Diploma & 8 years of experience OR A.A. & 4 years of experience

· Experience with electro-mechanical assembly

· Experience reading and understand drawings and schematics

· Experience working under a microscope and with small tools

Able to use computers and MS Word and office proficiently

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

IPC - Soldering exp

Fiber Optic experience or knowledge

Compensation:

$23.56/hr to $33.89/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
