The finance major offers a choice of three concentrations: wealth management; banking and consumer finance; and corporate finance. Capstone courses in all three concentrations make use of simulations with the Student Managed Investment Fund embedded in the wealth management capstone. Enrollment in the finance degree has experienced a significant increase in the recent past and is approaching approximately 700 students. The department also has minors in economics, commercial and investment real estate, and actuarial science and risk management along with a certificate in financial planning (CFP® Board Registered Program).
