Insero Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-established and highly respected law firm in Rochester in search of a Paralegal.
The Paralegal will support attorneys through all phases of commercial and residential real estate transactions, from initial due diligence through closing. This individual will play a key role in managing transaction flow, including organizing and maintaining deal files, analyzing legal and title documentation, and assisting in the preparation and execution of loan and real estate documents.
Responsibilities:
- Support attorneys in the execution of commercial real estate and lending transactions
- Maintain and organize deal files, ensuring accuracy and completeness across all documentation
- Review corporate organizational documents and assist with entity due diligence
- Analyze title commitments, title policies, and ALTA surveys
- Review and summarize loan documents, construction agreements, and related contracts
- Draft, revise, and format loan and transactional documents
- Assist with coordinating and executing transaction closings
- Communicate with clients and third parties while maintaining strict confidentiality
- Track deadlines, manage timelines, and support overall case and transaction management
- Contribute to process improvements and ensure efficient workflow across matters
- Support additional practice group initiatives as needed
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA, NFPA, or equivalent) is a plus
- 2 years of experience in a paralegal or legal support role
- Prior experience supporting commercial and/or residential real estate and/or banking transactions, strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, documentation, and transactional processes
- Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build effective working relationships across attorneys, staff, and clients
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
- Self-starter with a proactive mindset and the ability to take initiative
Salary : $54,000 - $72,800
