We are seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and patients. This role is critical to ensuring a positive client experience while supporting the medical team through accurate communication, scheduling, and administrative support. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a veterinary hospital
Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:
- Greet clients and patients warmly, in person and by phone
- Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and manage the daily calendar
- Answer multi-line phones, route calls appropriately, and handle client inquiries
- Process payments, invoices, and medical records accurately
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians, technicians, and support staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area
- Handle sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism, and discretion
- Previous experience as a veterinary receptionist, medical receptionist, or customer service professional preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency; experience with veterinary practice management software is a plus
