About the Job
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of skilled tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment. This role supports operational efficiency by following established safety protocols and utilizing preventive and predictive maintenance practices. The technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and ensuring all systems operate at optimal performance to help achieve the site’s business goals and objectives.
What You’ll Do
- Perform a wide range of maintenance duties to install, troubleshoot, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
- Respond promptly to emergency and unscheduled equipment repairs during production, while also completing scheduled maintenance during planned downtime
- Carry out basic machinist tasks as needed to support equipment repair and fabrication
- Apply strong mechanical aptitude across systems, including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic components, to diagnose issues and perform effective repairs
- Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders to accurately complete maintenance tasks
- Identify root causes of equipment failures, repair or replace defective components, and test systems to ensure proper operation
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facility systems to maximize uptime and efficiency
- Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and material handling devices
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, faulty operations, or defective materials to appropriate personnel
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment
- Provide cross-coverage for team members during vacations or absences as needed
- Support overall operations by performing additional duties as assigned

- Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
