Data Center Electrical Construction
Location: Dallas, TX
Direct Hire | $95,000–$140,000 Significant bonus opportunity
Innovar Group is seeking an experienced EH&S Manager to support safety leadership across active data center electrical construction sites in the Dallas market. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day safety execution within energized electrical construction environments and partnering closely with project leadership to maintain safe, compliant, and high-performing job sites.
Direct electrical data center construction safety experience is required.
Position Overview
The EH&S Manager serves as the primary safety leader supporting one or more active data center construction sites. This role works directly with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to ensure consistent implementation of safety programs across complex electrical infrastructure installations.
This is a hands-on field leadership role, not a corporate safety position.
Responsibilities
- Lead EH&S execution across active data center electrical construction sites
- Conduct daily site safety walkthroughs and compliance inspections
- Support energized work planning and electrical hazard mitigation strategies
- Partner with project leadership to proactively identify and reduce job-site risks
- Lead incident investigations and corrective action implementation
- Track safety performance metrics and reporting trends
- Reinforce OSHA compliance across assigned project environments
- Coordinate subcontractor safety alignment and expectations
- Deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks
- Support implementation of company safety programs and procedures
- Participate in client-facing safety coordination meetings when required
Project Environment
This role supports safety oversight within:
- Hyperscale and enterprise data center construction
- Electrical infrastructure installations
- Energized environments
- Multi-contractor job sites operating on accelerated construction schedules
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of EH&S experience supporting construction environments
- Direct safety experience supporting electrical installations within data center construction projects
- Experience working in energized electrical environments
- OSHA 30 certification required
- Strong incident investigation experience
- Experience partnering with project managers and field supervisors on active construction sites
Preferred Certifications
One or more of the following is strongly valued:
- CHST
- ASP
- CSP
